Incidentally the reason the sponsors are regional is that Calgon is only really needed in hard water areas.

At least, I'm assuming that's the case?

I know that Corrie & Enders have both dipped to new lows this month but putting Emmerdale on at 10pm is just stupid. They could of cut back episodes of a couple of weeks.

I wonder when Charles Allen's padded cell is ready. I heard they had to enlarge twice already!

Tonight's episode has been shown the red card due to the football going to extra time.

I assume they'll show some sort of quick recap before tomorrow's.

I think it would have been a good idea to put Emmerdale on ITV2 at 7, like an E4-First Look type thing, then repeat that episode at 10 the same night on ITV1?

I note that next week Emmerdale is being replaced by an hour long Corrie on the Monday then there are two hour long editions (up against EastEnders) on Tuesday & Thursday. I wonder if they will regain their viewers after the recent slump? Do you think they covering old ground by blowing up this house and killing people off?

Do soaps times go back to normal from nextweek then? I haven't heard anything

No Corrie because we are ahead with episodes at the moment (as has been mentioned in the Corrie thread)

With regards to Emmerdale, this storyline with the Kings from what ive read it doesnt tempt me to go back to watching Emmerdale at all
