Question

Hate to bring 9/11 up, but it was decided in the History department at my school to assign the entire grade projects related to what happened...

Does anyone have, or could direct me to, RealMedia clips of any British TV news coverage of the attacks (IE a BBC 6 O' Clock News open with the headlines of 9/11?)

Any help would be much appreciated.

Yeah, I was watching a TRL (US show) on MTV and the host made reference to '9/11' talking about the WTC attack.

Heh, the US system is the only one which makes no logical sense. The European system puts day then month then year, the progression is logical. The Japanese system is probably the best, as for example 2001/12/05 (today's date) can be directly sorted into numerical order in a computer. But the US one, I mean, month then day then year? Who thought that one up then? What next, learning your ACB?

Well to be fair, they write it the way they say it, i.e.:

September 11th 2001

so

09/11/2001

Mind you, given that we all know what date is being referred to, can no one come up with any ideas? BBCi and CNN both have archive footage of the event in a fairly comprehensive way. I would try there first, then come back and ask for anything you specifically want that hasn't been covered in those sites.

I have sep 11 on tape, I taped from 3.45pm on the day, I have the six o clock news and that ill fated Question time show.
