The only issue with cobbling together a channel from the archives and current content of sister channels to make what is effectively an advertisement for the main channels is that you run the risk of cheapening the channel and shooting yourself in the foot.
The same thing happened with Ftn. Ftn, you may remember, aired material from what was then the Flextech owned channels, now part of Virgin Media Television. Initially half-decent, it then spent four years airing copious amounts of what was effectively mostly drivel with a quiz show to pad out proceedings. Ironically it was only in the channel's last year or so when it actually picked up some decent programmes and viewing figures that it was scrapped.
