Part of what Showcase has left behind does constitute what's left of valuable capacity on COM6. With BT Showcase SD gone, Discovery are taking advantage (and partially reversing an unpopular move) by using the bandwidth left by the part time BT channel.

Thats another special ident not being used. I think its because there a refresh coming down the line soon and there want to have big bang of change.

If Quest was planning a relaunch soon, wouldn't Quest Red have launched with something similar to the new look?

NO... I said refreash, not rebrand or relaunch Logo is quest most powerful branding tools its going onwhere.

QUEST has NOW refreshed the ident, told you Rather nice I've only seen one. Was it today for the relauch of +1 or was it monday?

They've timed it well for elevating Quest+1 to feasible broadcast hours on Freeview. Hochanda is the sacrificial lamb; because they've noted that they only get most viewers in daytime.

As for the ident so far; I caught it on Quest+1 incidentally....I like it, from initial impressions.

Can you say if there just appeared today?

Only just saw it today - I can't say whether they've launched these idents today or on Monday.

These appear to be inspired by the older DMAX Italian idents

There dont appear to be inspired, there are the older DMAX idents.. You have to remember the same people who makes Quest stuff also makes DMAX stuff...
