You'll like series F. I've been to 2 of the recordings, the latter being the funniest one I've seen, although I have only been to 6 in total. But a lot of new panellists this time.

oh interesting! that'd be good. It can be repetitive constantly having Jo Brand and Phil Jupitus on every show.

They are still in 2 or 3 episodes. I think series E, whilst very good, did suffer from not having enough new people - only two (Johnny Vegas and Charlie Higson) were new. Conversely, series D had too many, and it seemed to suffer a little, so it's hard to find a balance. Pity Bill Bailey hasn't been at any recordings so far (I have a feeling he won't be in this series at all, due to Australian tour commitments), but I know that there's a rather special guest lined up for one episode (which I'm going to see!), providing it's still all going to plan!

As for the DVD releases, series A received very little promotion from the company, and as such there were originally no plans to release further series. That was until fandom made itself known, and a different company took over and released series B. Series C is set to follow later this year, and hopefully more will follow.

I've always enjoyed watching Rory McGrath on this show, he seems to know so much. It looks like hosting Trivial Pursuit all those years ago may have paid off!

It's hardly surprising the dvds dont sell well when so called 'fans' post whole episodes on YouTube and other such sites.

But DVDs still have all the extras like out-takes, commentaries, extra factoids etc. which fans can't upload. Also, those in America who can't buy the DVDs appreciate YouTubers who upload the episodes.

That's the problem with Rory. While he's incredibly intelligent, he knows too much, which made him come across as a bit smug and irritating, which is presumably why he hasn't been asked back.

Tony Slattery hosted the Family Channel/Challenge version which I think was quite a bit different to the BBC1 version.
