Greengrass did it - lol damm funny he has said that nearly every day at 5pm another great dig at the awful heatbeat at 5pm!!!....and also today lisa was reading out what was on citv and she got to roland whatsit that mad show with the fat guy with the red hair..and kevin just looked down and said "im sorry kids" and then said the worst show followed by the worst witch!!!...always digging citv itv this guy is either going to be fired or given a job for itv...

Indeed, I think the first time she's done a weekday show on her own.
From a photo she held up it seems that Lisa might be a holiday park entertainer in her day job, do they have places like Haven on Jersey?
Oh and the best bit yesterday was when Harry appeared in that cupboard on the right hand side, Kevin told him to come out and then shut the door in his face. All we needed was for him to say 'IT'S A PUPPET!!!' in Brian Conley style!
i think lisa did a great job she had over ten minutes and was fun to watch...its not easy sat there doing a show un scripted and i guess un rehearsed...the thing i find is that kevin has a gift for keeping the show upbeat and not knowing what will happen next and is very at home makeing things up playing gags on people and bringing everone invloved...not to take anything away from lisa she is good also and im sure with in time get better she has the right balance for not going over the top like that cheesey way they do with young citv girl presenters....
on a side note the compertition promotion is fab as has all the past puffin pla(i)ce ones in all the shows graphics and vts or compertitions ahve always been first class....
also what presenter or presnters do you think kevin reminds you of or he has looked at and tried to copy??...i can not quite nail it but he reminds me of some........ any ideas?
I noticed yesterday Channel used a longer front title sequence to Puffin's Pla(i)ce, similar to the end sting used at the weekend (Oscar in a bubble, Kevin waving, the other animals in a smaller bubble). Were these titles used before?

They only use the Longer titles, when they have time.

Cheers - perhaps with Channel News finishing early, they had a bit of extra time.
They also used to use these titles when it used to be sponsored, but with a sponsor voiceover, the long titles shown clean is quite rare.
I remember last Autumn, Channel News started about 3.07pm, with Oscar Puffin on at about 3.11pm and Kevin ranting about the time slot, now they are having to fill with a PIF so it isn't on too long!
New cartoon animation which would be featured on Puffins Pla(i)ce called the "Jersey Royals" and also they would have a Omnibus of the Jersey Royals on sunday.
Jersey Royal is about a group of potatoes that have a little adventure and try and stay away from the Bad Guy ( Forgot the name).
