She looked liked she was enjoying being there, the little video they made of her out side was very cool..really took me back..give her time to settle in, i bet it is not easy doing that kind of tv...again i go by my children and they seemed to like her..best quote from my little girl..."is that kevins wife?"...

Who ever takes over from kevin has a hard job to follow he has made that show his own...its 10 mins of un scripted madness..he does things that im sure is down to confidence what he is doing.. i get the feeling he is bringing her in and helping her though it instead of just walking away and channel finding a replacement...remember look at those awful citv presenters...as for your comments on the background showing up we have it on tape and it was the background on her and kevin and oscar..he did say they were haveing problems...sorry to shatter your um..thoughts...i also agree with andrew...puffin has really stood its ground recently with all the football changes..and those idents..genuis...

on another note..did u manage to see the "riots" on channel news?..their shots went out on itv news channel..and other gmtv i think...what with that and simply the best..channel so far in my books with all the half an hour programmes they have being showing..channel is makeing a stand..and is i feel its own itv output..

They do use the Channel/ITV1 C-List Celeb idents this is true, but they also use their full screen CGI Channel logo ident which is fantabulous. Its the only region that still does that.

Have to admit though that the C-List celeb ident looks naff, apart from the puffin one which is just hilarious!

Great show today. The woman was on again. I could hear someone in the background shouting commands to Kevin while he carried on unabated. Not only that but he mentioned a letter a Granada viewer sent in - said it was his birthday. He then mentioned that the letter severely criticised Granada and then he quickly went on to the day's children's TV listings.

Top stuff.

A few slip-ups going into Puffin's Place yesterday, after the Channel ident the titles for Puffin's Pla(i)ce wouldn't start, leaving Kevin, Oscar and Harry bemused. They made a joke out of it and went on with the show though, the professionals they are

Thats what i've always loved about Channel. They clearly made thousands of mistakes, and can barely run the channel, however the way they respond to such problems just makes me smile, and i can pretty much ignore those problems now because Channel is such a great region!

What you must never loose sight of is that Channel Television probably has the LOWEST error to viewer ratio of ANY television channel in the world.

On the mainland, that number of viewers or listeners would probably be for a hospital radio station.

I'll bet (with no disrespect to the lady) that our Katherine makes more mistakes in a week on Pilgrim Hospital Radio than Channel do.

Its not exclucive. Look East are pretty good for one or two, like opting-out during the Henman match on Monday.

Watched Puffin today, it was hilarious!

Kevin was saying that now that Des Lynam will not be doing ITV Sport anymore, and that its the end of Euro 2004, Channel TV will have to make 2 new idents, SHOCK HORROR LoL.

And who the hell is this alex person he keeps talking to thru the intercom lol

Perhaps he's the equivelant of Uncle Roy in the 80s. I remember one of the presenters asking Uncle Roy if they could display a magic cage for the child who's card they were reading out.
