Tommy Boyd who used to do Magpie was on it. Him and this woman do a show on there on late saturday nights where they just screw about, and try different experiments and things. It's the best radio show i've ever heard yet they probably only have a few thousand listeners max. So much so that if you phone the show, you don't go through a switchboard, you literally are on air as soon as the phone picks up.

He's not calling it the Human Zoo is he?

I tuned in briefly last night and it was dire - I was expecting him to be as provocative and controversial as he was on Talk Radio and LBC, but it was terrible clichéd local radio stuff.

Speak for yourself, i really liked last nights show. It depends what they're talking about when you turned on, because they have no agenda. One minute they can be talking about how to charge a grannys electric wheelchair, or talking about why handcuffs are kinky. Very hit and miss! I think it's class. Each to their own though.

Back to the subject of Oscar and co lol

Today's was good for silly reasons, kevin was funny he had a moan he broadcasts 7 days a week and is allowed a day to be a bit rubbish and then his sign off was "now im off to see how nick owen keeps his job" Priceless

After a month Puffin's Pla(i)ce has settled into its new slot well (better than anything else on ITVDAY) Just a shame its not on for a half hour or something at the weekend etc

Also Kevin is good on the radio on sunday morning better than Ex beeb murry norton who should go back to the afternoons on the bbc not first thing in the morning on a music station, not saying he is bad just not right at what he is doing now Laughing

So he's actually leaving then?
This maybe when he gets married like he's always going on about and moves to the mainland.

At least he's giving good notice unlike many Channel TV presenters lately. We won't have to see Murray Dron filling in!

Nice slip up on today's Lunchtime show... Channel News finished then cut to a still "Puffin's Pla(i)ce logo... that was faded out and then a promo was played... they then went back to Puffins Pla(i)ce, the start played out normally, but then Kevin welcomed us back after CITV!! This went on for a little while until it was faded out, we then got Kevin talking into his microphone asking "can you hear me"... and fiddling around with the music before the show got underway... this time with no "Welcome back"! after that they did manage to get to the end, but had to cut back to the ITV network before the end of the end titles...

Bit of a shambles really!

It looks like both programmes were recorded earlier today but by accident they started showing the 3.30pm show instead. The fact that he didn't make a lot of fuss about the cockup would lead me to thinking none of it was live
