Never really been one for Puffin but recently becoming hooked!
The cracks Kevin makes directed at ITV plc and Channel management are great and they let him get away with it or is he purely expressing the feelings of the whole of CTV.
As to time I don't personnally think Puffin will last the year as it is only a matter of time before ITV plc get their hands on Channel.
I think Channels owners are waiting until the price is high and the offer is to good to refuse!

well todays shows were damm funny...talking about paris hilton not getting on a plane with a goat and a ferret and a monkey...
also mentioned something about MOM after a promo with ant or dec how they were useing them to get people to watch it on saturday...man itv carnt be happy with this guy if the ever saw what he sayes..
Someone mentioned kevin haveing glasses he seems to wear them all the time..did he do record of the year? was that his only time on itv1 i thought they didnt use local presenters any more...
if you had a choice what would you see kevin go on to next?? Citv or another channel or Saturday morning..or how about another show..
Kevin does quite alot of presenting on CTV. He co-presented the Battle of Flowers event this summer in Jersey with Sarah Cillairs. He was very good although people kept taking the mick because he is very small next to Sarah!
He also does alot of acting locally at the Opera House and stuff I guess his work at CTV is his way of trying to get into big time TV!
after seeing this weekends programmes is kevin in trouble? he seemed to be very annoyed and kept saying sorry and tune in on monday to see if he still has a job!!!...has channel had enough of his funny through aways?? i for one will tune in..if it is just a tatic me and my little girl will be watching!!!..hope he gets more time this week !!
well see people are talking about the show on the channel tv thread..so i thought it was time to bring this thread back...i think some people though have the wrong view of kevin and the show...its clever not "a cock up"...and the girl who was on the other day was great..
i havent posted in a while..lost my job got a new one moved house i have kids..but felt i had to say something...he also said something about being on next week with the footy being on...
funny moment at 5pm..ish...kev was not cued or something when they went on air..he was reading something then looked up all surprised!!! was funny he then made it into a joke...lol..also said that they are on next week even though the footy kicks of at 5pm and that channel report is on at 4.30pm..they will deff...be on...said something also about a new friend??? comming soon...is he off???..........
I was reading my tv listings today and at 3.30pm and 4pm during the week it sayes channel report nothing about puffins pla(i)ce...and today on the show kevin said they had sorted it so they would be on before and after citv all next week...
might have to call channel and ask them..its very confusing...why are they not on the sky epg and listings....????...
A funny edition today, Kevin turned into an in-vision continuity announcer for a moment and read through tommorow's pages of the Radio Times. "At 1.30 its Speed Sunday then at 4pm, The Planet's Funniest Animals, oh dear have they brought that back as a filler". He also almost mentioned Match of the Day, but then realised it's on the BBC!
There's also a new Channel ident featuring Kevin giving a red card to Oscar. They are getting in Euro 2004 mood despite the Channel Islands officially not being part of England
This week, Puffins Place wasn't supposed to be on as there is no Channel News at 3pm, but they've decided to dedicate a part of the Channel Report half hour to it, therefore reducing the length of the news. It's on at these times...
Monday - 4pm (with Channel News at 4.05 and Report Sport at 4.15)
Tuesday - 4pm (with Channel Report at 4.15)
Wednesday - 3.05pm as normal
Thursday - 3.30pm (with Channel Report at 3.45)
Friday - 3.05pm as normal
yesterdays was so funny..and did anyone else see that darlek???? oscar and kevin got chased by a REAL darlek..lol they carn't get a darlek for the new dr who..but oscar on puffins pla(i)ce can!!! lmao...
also i have seen their new idents..there seems to be a few..and as for the whole england thing...of course 800 years ago jersey declared their inderpendce and became under control of the crown but to remain self governed..so really though closer to france..they are followers of the crown...kevin mentioned also there was a new presenter??? didnt cath the name...and that they were going to be b4 the england france match...does this mean at long last channel are starting to give some support to clearly their most loved mascot and best programme..though will it be the same if kevin goes???..discuss :
It won't be the same without Kevin and I think Puffin is too popular to be rested at this stage. Also what is Kevin actually doing in the titles? He seems to be holding his hand up and pointing at it.
Nice to see Oscar wearing a hat in one of the Euro idents.
trying to explain to my kids why england lost is much harder than anything i have ever done..lots of tears..oh well..but....
here on channel going into the itv show @7.14pm they did a channel tv ident not a national one..useing the new england footy ones with kevin oscar and harry..WELL DONE CHANNEL!!..my kids loved it and it did a lot for i feel kids watching and the local aspect is great kevin did the voiceover saying channel shows disrupted next week due to the footy!!!..i have a good mind to email channel for all their recent work with their promos and idents really feel i am watching channel tv again!!!...now back to the result...why oh why england....
yes recently Channel has really come into its own. They've been showing a lot more Channel TV idents recently. Previously around a month ago the only time we'd see a channel ident is when Channel Report is being introduced, and even then it was just an ITV1 ident with a channel logo slapped on it. Now we are getting a proper full screen CGI ident, and proper continuity announcers from Channel themselves. Not recorded either by the sound of it. Either that or they record a new one each day.
Haven't seen this new Puffin ident you're on about but i shall keep my eyes open mr_riley
