You should email it to Kevin & the team just so that they can have a laugh, it's very well made too!
It will be interesting to see what, and if they make any changes to the titles, they need updating (as I never understand that wave thing that Kevin does that makes it look as though a puppet should be there), but faces in bubbles is surely all you need.
They've gone back to using the short rocket sting at the moment, due to the ending of the sponser contract and shortage of time as the news doesn't seem to start until 3:05.
Then you've got the middle titles used with the sponser, and then the long titles which involve the treasure chest at the start and then them all flying around in the bubbles and then Oscar Parachutes down, etc.
Sometimes I don't know what the appeal is for me to watch, but I just have to!
Tuned into Channel Telvision today via Sky as 5 mins of Anglia News is enough when you are off work ill. Great to see Puffins Place for quite a while and from what I heard it seems that Kevin is getting married. He was also very excited about ITV getting to show the US Superbowl and kept mentioning "Superbowl on ITV1" for a few times then decided that this Superbowl is on "Channel Television".........
Maybe the beginning and end of that mock could be the titles then the rest could either could be brand new,a compilation of titles or the rest of the long titles.I think my last idea would work:
Zooms in on channel islands,
Crew fly in bubbles,
Oscar parachutes down,
Fades into new ending with that nice font!
For any one confused over today's Puffin's Pla(i)ce, as I was, Patrick Muirhead (the short term face of Channel Reports) has written an article in the Times' T2 section. It's a very good read, and as Kevin said today Patrick describes him as a 'Cheery Actor'.
To be honest I wondered why Patrick Muirhead moved from Radio 4 to Channel TV of all places!?
The same thing happened with Kevin Owen. He moved from SKY NEWS to Channel TV. At least hes back there now, i wonder where Patrick Muirhead is now? From what little I saw of him on Channel Report, he's certainly a very good presenter, and much better (IMHO) than the rabble that have appeared on Channel recently.
At least we've been given an insight into just what happens when they're muttering away whilst the studio lights up
It was an interesting Puffin's Pla(i)ce today live from Guernsey, looked to be their news studio. So they had a few of the items off the desk on the coffee table, Kevin was on a sofa, Oscar was sat on the back of it and Harry was way in front. It wasn't the same as the usual Puffin's Pla(i)ce but it did ok for being in another location.
Of course with no background music it made it seem wierd, and the day graphic on a plasma.
They have done from there before but im sure they had music last time..yeah it was good and nice to see them in the other island!!
But...
How funny was the start with Kevin holding up the now infamous times pullout with Patrick's Face on it...then makeing a comment then throwing it away..and all his little comments from yesterdays and todays show...
And...
What a silly thing to do regarding Patrick (I was rubbish at my job anway) muirhead...Why do such a thing? Even if there was problems regarding ctv what right does he have to come out and say it? And I think mr stabby is so wrong Channel have a good team of presenters and some ok ones.
But it seems he wanted fame for some reason...so im supporting channel, he is very wrong about reginal TV Its important what would peopel do with out local news paper and radio? shall we get rid of them also?
Its also intresting to note that kevin and of course Oscar have seen many presenters come and go, I wonder if Kevin would do Channel Report? Why not? Who knows?

Indeed it was a strange Puffin's Pla(i)ce today live from Guernsey. With no music it had a bit of a Andy Jaye feel about it, with just the sound of Kevin's voice reading out the stories.
With Oscar at the back he had his 'legs' on show that are normally only seen when Kevin takes him out and about.
Kevin did look at home on the sofa, not sure about Channel Report but he could definally read Channel News. He'd be better than that bloke who was doing the 3pm bulletin the other week. He kept messing up the sign off, getting confused between there being a run down of news and a round up of news on Channel Report and kind of saying half of each!
Not sure you could have a 'cheery actor' reading the news though!
