Kevin was back on Monday and confirmed that CITV will now be linked up using a voiceover only and that Andy and 'whatshername' won't be coming back. He said 'sounds a bit boring to me but it's not my idea!'
The green screen was broken at the start of Tuesday's show and for a moment said 'Monday' on the background!
Today Kevin shockingly took a day off and it was Lisa again!. Didn't she do well doing last week on her own?

When Kevin returned, did he mention what he'd been up to in London? As before he went he kept winking and mentioning meetings, did he mention anything?

I wonder whether Kevin reads this thread and that was for TVF's benefit and he was just there for the usual tourist things... or not even in London

I'd say no, as I'm sure he would have mentioned it or at least hinted at it at some point and he never has, although if you put Kevin Pamplin or Oscar Puffin etc into Google this thread is one of the main results.
Anyway on Tuesday's show Kevin got momenterilly excited when he heard the 'network had crashed', saying that the show could now be extended all afternoon. Sadly the apprant problems at ITV lasted about 10 seconds.
He did a showbiz news section today on the show and said that it could do with 'a sting' before it, so that's a slight technical term for us there!

Well a very interesting and exciting edition of Puffin's Pla(i)ce today.
Before the show Channel TV played out a trailer for the new look news which had the presenters talking about the programme well they played a time lapsed film of the new set being built (which does look very nice!).
Anyway, after that Kevin said how nice it looked and then went onto say that with Oscar's permission (as it is his show!), they would have a new studio, and it is studio rather than set as he said that they would be moving into a bigger studio as the show is expanding and has come along way since Kevin began 3 years ago this week.
He said that it wouldn't be immediate but they will have a new look Puffin's Pla(i)ce before Christmas!
I just hope that they don't get rid of that music, it's so addictive!

From what i remember when i last visited Channel they only have one big studio and that's it. Perhaps they'll put Oscar in the newsroom and pile all the staff into the little broom cupboard

Unless they're either converting an old room into a studio or expanding the current home. That's what he said.

Today's Puffin's Pla(i)ce was cancelled for obvious reasons (and partly because the news broke at around 3pm) and so CITV and 60 Minute Makeover were introduced by the ITV1 announcer...
So maybe tomorrow we'll have double the birthdays (if there were any birthdays today).. It'll also be interesting to see what happens with the Jersey Royals as there was no episode today the Omnibus is going to seem a little strange (unless they shift it to Sunday this week)... So much to cram in in only a 5 minute slot on both days!
I bet Kevin was a bit annoyed if he'd come in today expecting to do a show and then at the last minute they call it off... but it can't be helped.

I bet they'll show the omnibus as billed but then perhaps show today's episode as well as next week's new episode on Monday.
Recently Kevin has stopped coming back at 5pm some days. Can't blame him myself as all he does is opt out of the Next slide for about 8 seconds and then opt out of the ident for about 15 seconds, its hardly worth it.
