When the BEEB broadcast stuff like this. It almost makes it worth paying the license fee.
I'm really enjoying this.

Funny you should say that as some tosser wrote into The Metro to say that the BBC "shouldn't be wasting the licence fee on such rubbish" and that another one was upset with the BBC as "he son was the same name as the murderer in the show & is now getting bullied at school because of it", she's obviously forgetting the show is not aimed at kids at all Rolling Eyes

As it goes I caught a bit of the one with Dawn French in it & the "possessed" doll, I thought it was wonderfulyl weird & made a nice change to the usual soap b*ll*cks.

Are all episodes still on iPlayer?

Over the credits the BBC Two ( Scotland ) announcer said to press the red button to see the final episode on BBCi - but it was not there. ( Taking the Flak was the only prog listed ).

Phoned BBC Complaints who said there had been a few calls about his but weren't sure if it was a technical problem or just a mistake...

I was kind of relieved as I was about 10 minutes behind from watching it live, so would have had to wait the week anyway.

Brilliant episode though set up for a great conclusion next week. Hopefully anyway - I'm not sure how I'd feel about them dragging it out another series.

A screw up by BBC2 pres by the sounds of it - was never intended to be shown on the red button:

I think it's exactly the kind of programme the BBC should be making - innovative, creative and not mainstream pap. No surprise that it doesn't go down well with the masses though.

You mean there's really a child out there called David Sowerbutts? Shocked

With a surname like that I'm sure he was getting bullied already!

I agree it's exactly the type of programme the BBC should be making, something against the usual old b*ll*cks that gets churned out by every other channel. It's programmes like this that means I have no qualms about paying the licence fee.

As for the name of the child, can't remember the surname of the person who wrote it but it seemed to imply the first name in the letter, which in that case all of the Davids in that school must be getting the same treatment.

There is a great alternative title sequence on YouTube...

Probably wouldn't have had the same impact though. Sorry!
