Was this much like what I guess to be a similar type of show, which had a strange sort of computer interface style, called Voxpops? I remember it as a programme that bridged the end of the bbc 2 childrens programming to the start of more grown up stuff, perhaps even sunday grandstand. I might have got the name wrong too...
And another suggestion - Friday film specials. I want to see Sammy's super T shirt again.

Windmill. Or just invent a new clips show with the same kind of format. It made Sundays worth it for a while in the 80s, when the only other good Sunday programme was Bullseye.
For those that don't know, Windmill was a clips show presented by Chris Searle. It had a very calm and relaxed approach and treated you with respect, unlike the I Love... series, and all those Top 10 / Top 100 shows you get on C4. I loved the titles, especially when everything "rewound" at the end of the show. I was fascinated by picture search as a kid!
