Programme possibly called "Chain Reaction"

Anyone remember show matching this description? (July 2007)

This is a bit of a request, on behalf of a work colleague of mine.

He's says that he remembers a TV programme that he thinks was called Chain Reaction (or something similar) that basically was like those Honda adverts where various objects form a Domino-style 'chain reaction', but on a much bigger, warehouse-filling scale (apparently lasting for a 30-minute programme, so he says). Dunno whether he meant a series or a one-off programme. Sounds more like the latter.

I've just texted him to get more details, but I don't think he's got credit to text back. I'm in a public library, as I have no PC at home, so can't call him to talk.

I didn't get to clarify how few/many years ago this was on telly, or what channel it would've been on. I personally don't remember it.

He says he taped it off telly at the time, but some sod has since taped over it. He says he's scoured the internet, but can find no trace of it having ever existed. He'd love it on video/DVD. Did he imagine the whole thing?

Can anyone shed any light?

Cheers in anticipation. Smile

EDIT: Not a gameshow of any kind, on the basis of his description! Sound to me more like a Rough Science or even Brainiac type programme.

Doesn't mean a film starring Keanu Reaves by any chance.

Only if literally nothing except a Honda-style domino thing happens in that film (which I doubt)!

Sounds like The Way Things Go, the makers of which apparently tried to sue the makers of Cog (the Honda ad).

Yes that sounds like it. Often used as a filler for Channel 4 Schools.

It is indeed The Way Things Go, for some reason it was renamed when the BBC showed it in the early 90s.
