For the last few days I have seen HMV adverts featuring DVD's for 5.99 where the ad features some library music that is also used as a theme tune to some current tv programme!

I cannot think of what it is - does anyone else know which programme the music is from?

Thanks

PS Are most tv theme tunes catalogue music or are they individually produced and recorded?

Erm wouldn't this be best suited in the requests forum?

I bang my head on the metaphorical table yet again.

I wouldn't do that to a real table as it might cause damage. I'm not so worried about your head, but I would be worried about the table. Laughing

Erm well - i did have a debate with myself and ruled it necessary to plonk it here! Along with only finding out what the track is - I dont actually want the file.

But I also raised the question concerning 'library music' and its uses. Surely its a cunning ploy by an advertiser to use a theme music for their advert so that whenever anyone hears the tv theme music they would/should think of the advertiser aswell!
That's the theory anyway but it obviously hasnt worked the other way around as I cant think of the tv programme the track was featured in! Its possibly a daytime tv makeover programme more than likely!
