Is there really a need to take all of these programmes off,because of these events?I can see why they dont show films which involve similar subjects,But is it needed that The Big Breakfast does not get shown?Or MTV Select?SM-TV and L&K Probably wont get shown either on Saturday.But this doesnt stop MTV Hits from showing Queen and David Bowie`s Under Pressure,who`s video features buildings demolished prominently.

SMTV will need a replacement presenter, Cat Deeley, who was on holiday, is trapped in America. But I think both SMTV and L&K willl be on. In fact, SMTV and CDUK will be longer than advertised, because I doubt the Grand Prix will be on, with the US drivers stuck!
I think it's rather inappropriate to show The Big Breakfast at this moment in time, considering they do things like reviewing the papers, I thing it would have been distasteful, so that's why Channel 4 dropped it.
I can't believe programmes like HouseCall went ahead, and I noticed that while BBC World have not shown a single trailer since the tragedy, BBC News 24 are showing trailers, how sad.

The worst thing I saw on News 24, which obviously got left in by accident, was either late Tuesday or early Wednesday when they showed a 'Talking Movies' trailer.
However apart from that they've hardly shown anything, as all their usual trailers would be inaccurate anyway, refering to bulletins that have been retimed or programmes that have been cancelled.
BBC1 has shown the subtitles trailer an awful lot over the past few days, presumably as a public service.

Yeah but they are hardly the same. The whole upbeat shoutyness of the Big Breakfast would be distasteful at this time, and i'm sure Planet 24 don't particularyly, want to broadcast now, i'm sure it was an extremly amicable decision to put C4 news on in the mornings.

Yeah both SMTV and L&K will be on, why wouldn't they childrens programmes have mostly followed the schedules, L&K will almost definatly be on because it is their last show!

They were, but unfortunately so was the Grand Prix - but the next one's in America, so I bet that's cancelled! The Saturday Show replaces L&K this Saturday. Cat Deeley should return to SMTV, she'll be home by now.
