Hi
for all of you who watched this 'documentry' on suday
what did you think because it left me confused i realy thought at the end there would be a message saying that it was a fake docu and they were pulling our leg.. but no, nothing.
I personally feel thats the whole thing was a bit strange and many of the actors that were at the retreat seemed to be.. well.. acting!
If this guy realy didnt want the cameras about why did he continue to conduct his private conversations knowing full well they were still filming.. to me it just seemed put on, hey maybe it was partly real.. i know how things can be put together and look completly differnt to how they were originally filmed.
However the ending just did it for me.. the guy with them tapes..like hed get away with just taking them .. and then it just so happened the bigwig news guy he was trying to sell them too was part of the centre gang!? all a but suspicious
Id love to hear what everyone else thought about this tv program?
*ahem* I think you'll find this one was actually the first thread here on the subject.......anyway.....
The tell-tale signs that this was a fake was the large proportion of 'desperate' celebs/actors appearing. The psuedo-wobbly camera effect. And David Ginola smiling/grinning after certain lines!
Its wasnt even mildy entertaining or fun. Who commissioned this crap?
hehehe i know what you mean, all c list celebs, the guy who kept repeating " u think u know whats realy going on" he was definatly acting.. no doubt, especialy the bit where he was trying to steal the tapes oh dear!!
Lets assume the programme
is
a hoax - therefore what was the purpose behind this 'fake' programme?
It has been done in the past to humourous effect on the Michael Aspel programme and to a certain extent with the Dale Winton wedding. The spoof GhostWatch was also entertaining and served a purpose but I cant see any reason why this programme was commissioned, what the brief was and what the purpose of it was.
I didn't find it remotely entertaining or grabbed me as a viewer. The whole thing was totally baffling as to what is was trying to be.
I wonder how much money was spent on this programme?
it was belivable to begin with, but then it just went.. well over the top..
i dont know if you watch the osbornes but it was like when jack had suppposidly killed one of the dogs ( by accident) they kept the pretence up till the end of the show .. and then they let u in on the joke, it wasnt real, they were just pulling your leg.. at the end of this 'documentry' this is what i expected to happen... but it didnt, it left me slightly confused .
I must admit, I got hooked at first. Jayne Middlemiss was very convincing...she didn't seem like she was acting at all. But the guy who stole the tapes...my god...he was SO over the top. It was really him that made the thing so unbelievable. If he was a good actor, you wouldn't have known he was acting. Is he a panto actor or something? OHHH YES HE IS!
But the ending was the dead give away. Funny though.
