Aww, how lovely.

I demand British broadcasters introduce studio cats. I think a Sky Newscat in particular could work well - the volume of meow could indicate severity of breaking news.

The BBC One bulletin studio (now shared with the News Channel) could have done with a studio cat a few years back. Michael Fish caught a mouse running across the studio - and many have been sighted in the newsroom. (Raised flooring, lots of crumbs and lots of building work over the road have all been blamed)

Newsroom cat, now there's an idea!

We had a bit of a mouse problem last summer too.
