At 10 on News24 there was confusion as there was no programme intro after the headlines.
Now, Gavin Esler and Carrie Gracie are calling it 'BBC News' (as if it's overnight) - and we're getting 'BBC News' idents (not after :30) - and there was an anim at :25 for their opt-out.
Obviously something has happened at BBC World so they've had to join News24.
You lot are always watching aren't you.
There was a major technical failure at BBC World and the decision was taken very late that World would take News 24 ... hence no ident after the headlines - as it would look odd to run a News 24 one on BBC World.
It played the overnight one at 10:25 for World to leave.
When they did the headlines, etc. Esler called it BBC News.
However, at the start clearly no-one had told Esler what was going on, as there was no ident and the camera came on him, he looked confused and he did the 'this is BBC News 24 (whoops!) with etc.' to this camera.
Incidentally, the same thing happened with the headlines today (Thursday) at either 11am or 12pm, but I didn't see any more of the programme.

Well, this is about BBC LOOK NORTH LEEDS. Towards the end bit, a camera went on after Paul Hudson weather update, and the camera was pointing at the floor. They were a bit confused!
Also, I can confirm that the BBC Regioanl News headlines are not pre-recorded (well not for LOOK NORTH LEEDS). It went into first headline, and picture, and Claire went into second headline with same picture. They buggered up that report!
I spoke to the producer of the programme about this a few months ago and it is done from N6.
However, they obviously cannot use a window behind it, because of two reasons:
Viewers would get bored of seeing the news room for a full hour.
and if they were to use a window, what would the window show? Viewers in the North would get angry if it showed a picture of London, so they kept it as the News24 style.
