I think the US has a Better prime time line up than the UK does
with shows like

Lost
24
Simpsons
Stargates (shows)
C.S.I (shows)
Batterstar
American Dad
Prison Break
Boston Legal
Cold Case
Bones
Nip/Tuck
The 4400
Two & A Half Men
Scrubs
South Park
House
Jericho
E.R

I cant think of many good prime time shows on UK main channels in prime time to much reality shows and soaps and documentaries. Thers is not a lot sit-coms

Have you ever tried to watch them on American TV? American TV is unwatchable, too many adverts, too many breaks in programmes.

Also how many of those programme you list are on the subscription channel HBO?

I've be to the US so often but I really hate thewir networks. We may call our networks a lot of the time but when you see the US networks one can see that yes we have dumbed down but the US market is so purile it is just unwatchable.

The only networks I tend to bother with nowadays, when I go, are PBS (esp for BBC News and Business Report) and HBO as well as FOX World Sports - for the live Premiership action!!!
