I would have expected more for Prime Suspect myself

I bet the first few episodes back in the 90s will have got double that, just goes to show what big effect multi-channel really does have

Any chance of Belmont DTT being off air might have had a slight impact on the viewing figures?

I see channel 4 made the right choice of moving DOND to sundays

Unusually low for Prime Suspect. I was expecting at least 8 million.

How do the actual percentages compare to the ratings of 10 years ago?

Multi-channel TV is blamed for alot of the losses, but I imagine also there are less viewers overall nowadays too.

Another good night for ITV then. 9 million for Corrie is good for a Sunday episode.

Hmmm. Slight meaning very slight. 30% of 500,000 people, only half of which will have been watching?

25000 people per major programme tops I'd estimate. Statistically insignificant.

Oh dear call the cops Laughing

This thread could be renamed as the new Ratings Thread, as we dont have one i think. Five US got off to a cracking start yesterday, and Five Life was also up after its dissapointing start.
First Look Home and Away got an impressive 354,000

Not a surprise really. It didn't do very well last series, so I wasn't expecting a rise this time round.

Coronation Street got 10.9 million last night, and a 50% share - which is brilliant. It lost over as million for the second episode though, with 9.7 million at 8.30pm, and a 42% share, matching EastEnders 9.7 million, but a slightly higher share with 43%.
