So all £450 odd quid Amadeus watches you say are £5 Cr*p? I'm sorry, but they do look like high quality watches and worth the money, where as Zeon are cheep 'Fila' et al type watches, which you would never see Zeon branded stuff on TV.
Just because expensive stuff is going cheap on Bid-up, it does not mean its Cr*p they are selling. They buy in bulk, sell so many and loads of other stuff, they make their money back at the end of the day.

I have tried it on a Broadband and 56k dial up conection and evertime i type the address it takes AGES to load and if the main page loads, and the press ctrl, alt, del it says not responding. The site is just so slow??? Whats up?? Bid-up site is a little better. At least it loads fine and works!!!

I know it has been talked about before, but price-fix.tv is getting silly now...
I recently saw a £100 item go to about £32 very quickly, then just stop and stay at the same price for over 1 minute, and then drop to £31 and just stay on it for over a minute to the end of the auction. As the auctions are all under 7 or 8 minutes long, it is impossible for the price to fall to a pound. I wonder if it is libellous to play those 'how low will we go' (depends what they mean!) ads, that say they will fall to £1. THEY NEVER DO!!!!!!!

Well funny you should say that. I was thinking the other day that nothing has ever gone to a pound, or even as low a £5, but later I was watching the channel is Gerry was selling some Cr*p as usual and was going on about how £59 was an excellent price and that if you were hanging on for it to go lower, then you should not and drop in now as everyone pays the lowest price. Then he said, 'I have only ever seen 2 products go to £1, so its unlikely it will happen on these right now'. So things must have gone for £1 in the past for him to say things like that. It bet it was only some rubbish plastic things at 00:50, so that’s why they went so low, just so they could close the channel down for the evening!
Price-drop isn’t going to lose any money by giving away 2 products for £1 at night. Anyway, Not that they EVER go for a pound because there is a £6.95 P&P charge, so the lowest you will ever get charged on your credit card would be £7.95!!
Talking of price-drop.tv, who saw Cheryl Barker do her first shift last night?? OMG, she was not very good. She did not know what to call a 5.1 surround sound home theatre system so kept referring to it as a speaker do dar thing, and also all of these Playstation accessories calling them Playstation things/do dars etc.
Well like a mature cheddar Cheese, I’m sure she will get better in time!

To start with, they are not 'auctions', as no-one bids.
Second; the price doesn't drop when people buy the product. If the price gets to 32 pounds and people start to buy it, then it doesn't move for a while. It's not illegal, and they don't fix prices. If you honestly beleived that this was going on, don't you think they wouldn't be allowed to broadcast? They'd be on Watchdog? People wouldn't buy the products?? Think!!

It wasn't her first shift - I saw her presenting one day last week. Friday, I think.
