The Price Is Right

Surprised this hasn't picked up yet. The Price Is Right coming back to out TV screens but this time on Channel 4 and with Alan Carr. I hope it isn't of the calibre of the Joe Pasquale era...Going by the use of the American logo hopefully not.

Almost certainly not the final branding of the show.

Seems a very strange direction for Channel 4 to go down, although an ex-ITV game show alongside ex-BBC Bake Off, maybe it makes sense.

I will hedge my bets and say that it will be. There would no reason for Denise Kelly to post it if it was only going to be a temporary logo until something new was made.

It seems that Channel 4 have Alan Carr on an exclusive contract and are looking for something for him to do after Chatty Man finished, who knows it may work but a revival of the Price is Right isn't exactly Born Risky.

I hope they try and stay true to the format and not use Alan as an excuse to drench it in camp and ruin it once again. I find Alan really grating on most of what he hosts nowadays, which is a shame because I once found him exceptionally funny.

There need a new daytime show which was never risky. I'm remember Vicky lake...
