Interesting to note this version of TPIR appears to filmed at Quay Street in Manchester/3sixtymedia... is this the only ITV quiz show to be shot at four different studios? (The Central version at Lenton Lane, Nottingham; the YTV version at Kirkstall Road, the Ant & Dec version at either the London Studios or TVC, and the Joe version at Quay Street). I'd have thought given that the wheel and other props were kept over from the Brucie version that they didn't record the series at Kirkstall Road - or were they too busy filming Bullseye to have room to accomodate TPIR?

First answer to your question - yes, I can't think of any other ITV show that has had 4 homes (The Golden Shot may have had 3 Elstree /Alpha / Broad Street) but not 4.

Second - The Price Is Right was always going to be recorded in Manchester. That was mentioned on the original press release. Bullseye - The Challenge years - was also going to be recorded in Manchester, but was moved to Leeds because of Asbestos removal in some of the studios in Quay Street.

Is Bullseye not another example of a show with four homes - Broad Street / Lenton Lane / London Studios (Ant & Dec's version / Kirkstall Road?

I'm disappointed the theme tune's changed. I liked the original "Da-da-da-dah, da da da dee" This new one is utter library rubbish.

And if your interested, here's the full Brucie version on a US site since it was a syndicated theme... TPIR Bruce Years

Shame the full version was never used in the UK, it's quite good!

I'm afraid that only scores 5/10 on the camp scale.

Here's the winner.

Arrow CITV is where it belongs - on a seperate channel

ITV has (or should have) obligations to bring its children's output to all viewers;

If you're going to repeat something, it might as well be something worthwhile. But I guess ITV pulled Rigsby in another ratings panic, or the bosses found it painful to watch a quality show.

Anyone know how they work out the RRP?

My jaw dropped when I saw the 26" LCD TV valued at £1099 or so earlier. You could buy 2 if not more of them, and that is from retailers such as Argos Laughing

There's nothing to work out. They use the manufacturer's RRP.

Shops like Argos are all about selling *under* the RRP.

Granada (oops I mean ITV) doing gameshows!!!!! Granada has never really made a successful gameshow - The Krypton Factor and CLeudo being the only exceptions. Granada, though, are good at quiz shows - Uni Challenge, Runway, Busmans Holiday etc...

TalkbackThames may hold the rights to TPIR but this version is absolutely awful- should never use media360 or any other ex-Granada staff. It should have been done by either ex-LWT or Ex-Yorkshire as they know how to do gameshows (argument being that these exLWT/exYorkshire staff are still in their reciprical jobs at the reciprical studios) i.e. New Bullseye is a perfect example - could it have been this good using the exGranada staff and filmed at Manchester - I somehow doubt it!

Looking at radiotimes.com, it seems that from the 22nd May, The Price Is Right is going to be on for an hour (from 5pm-6pm) on all regions except UTV, who still only have it for 30 minutes.
