Does anybody think this series will beat Deal Or No Deal?

NOT GOOD. Reasons why:

1) The Price Is Right does not work in a half hour format, regardless of who is presenting.

2) CITV will lose half and hour to accommodate it.

150 episodes apparently, for a 30 week run.

It worked quite succesfully for a few years with Brucie.

Probably not, but even DoND is going to have a limited shelf life at 6 days a week. No matter how Noel tries to hype it up about strategies and psychological battles with the banker, it's just a random game of luck.

What a strange time to put this, who thinks up these schedules these days, and letting down kids this way for a game show, this is disgraceful isn't it.

If you don't like the Price is Right how about a bit of Bully? This from our freinds at YTV

BULLSEYE is BACK for 2006!
Have our contestants got the steady hand that will win them BIG PRIZES? We will be filming the show at the LEEDS studios at ITV Yorkshire from Friday 24th March through to Wednesday 29th March & Friday 31st March through to Tuesday 4th April

Do we know who is hosting Bullseye?

With all these game shows coming back I'm losing track. I know Vernon Kay is doing Family Fortunes

Why can't they bring back Supermarket Sweep?

I know Dale Winton can't really do it but there must be someone else who can do it!

I knew Bullseye was coming back, but I was under the impression that the show was going to be made by Granada Manchester, as that was where the applicants had to apply to, but I knew ITV Productions are making it, it's going to be on Challenge TV mind you, but no-one has yet been confirmed as host, as it will be on Challenge TV rather than ITV1, I think Jim Bowen should do it.

As for The Price Is Right, good format, but it just won't work with Joe Pasquale and the fact it's going to be rammed down our throats on a daily basis at 4.30pm, I'll take my comments back if the show is a success and beats Deal or No Deal, but at the moment I can't see that happening.

Plus we aware of the fact that some members of this Forum are quite píssed off due to CiTV being reduced by half an hour, but ITV are well in their right to do this, even if CiTV is on for 60 minutes on a weekday along with their Weekend output, then ITV are showing more than the bare minimum of output that Ofcom says that ITV must show, they only have to broadcast about 8 hours a week, currently it's about 11 hours.
