According to another forum Price Drop tv has had a complaint against it up held by the Advertising Standards Agency after some pizzas and pies were shown next to an omelette maker.

A viewer complained saying they did not believe the food had been cooked by the maker and challenged it.

Sit Up admitted the food had not been cooked using the maker but the food could have been made by it.

The ASA said it was misleading and exaggerated its capabilities.

The ad broke rules 3.1 misleading advertising and and 3.12 Exaggeration.

Sit Up have been told not to show the advert again in its current form.

Things just keep going from bad to worse for the Sit-Up channels.

What do you mean 'according to another forum'? Didn't you think to check yourself?

Here is the ASA ruling... http://www.asa.org.uk/ASA-action/Adjudications/2011/4/sit_up-Ltd/TF_ADJ_50138.aspx

Sounds like this is about the overnight Screenshop stuff rather than the live daytime output.

If someone buys an omelette maker and then finds that it doesn't make pies properly they deserve pity, not to be humoured in this way. Numpties.
