Both channels were off the air well before 10pm, as both were airing a totally green screen at 9:15pm (I went channel surfing during the first break of Most Haunted on Ftn) with no screen output at all.
Plus both bid.tv and price-drop.tv were airing the same TV Warehouse feed until about ten minutes ago when bid.tv suddenly cut to another feed of something else and are now airing that in squashyvision.
I did see a two second glimpse of a test card before the colourful breakdown slide appeared, though and price-drop.tv was taking bid.tv's output, DOG and all. Until it suddenly flickered and the price-drop.tv DOG appeared on the appropriate channel and they've now both disappeared.
It looks like they've given up for the night now, considering there's no product times information for today or tomorrow on bid.tv's website anyway.

I'm wondering if they're going to call it a night and just leave Screenshop on until 8am tomorrow.
Although it's only 11pm, it's probably a little bit late for Price Drop/Bid TV and Speed Auction to get going again if they're all closing down at 1am - don't know about the Sit up movie channels though.
But hey, at least the presenters who should be on Bid/Price Drop/Speed Auction can look on the bright side - they're probably getting paid for doing nothing tonight!

The aspect ratios on all the channels seem to be all over the place and changing at a whim.
Who would be controlling this output?? Surely if there were power issues at the main output gallery, they wouldn't be able to transmit these infomercials??
So, what do we know so far......
*Channels went off air with a green screen at around 9:15pm
*Showed a very dodgy caption similar to something that would be generated by a tx site
*Returned with infomercials in strange aspect ratios and dogs appearing and disappearing at around 10:50pm
*situp.tv website is down, and the others are not showing any auctions or TV listings for the rest of today or tomorrow.
All this seems very bizarre. I can't really see anything to point to a failure at their studios as such, nor can I really see any issues at the tx point. It also seems like odd behaviour for an OFCOM related issue to be at the centre of this.
Anyone with any other suggestions/theories?

www.sit-up.tv is online.
I think there may have been a fire alarm / something similar. The phone systems could've failed. Someone may have fallen ill at the company. Although this is looking suspiciously similar to what happened to the ill-fated auction-world.tv
