Think this is new on Freeview - just channel hoping and stumbling across the awesome intro to the awful Versailles and a press Green prompt appears with iPlayer logo appeared to watch from the beginning. Been able to do that for sometime through the iPlayer or connected red button but first time I've seen a prompt.

An idea nicked from Sky.

...who themselves have probably nicked it from elsewhere.

Have the press green to set up a record prompts during trailers ended on Freeview? Can’t remember the last time I saw one.

iPlayer is leaps and bounds above other catchup services, from picture quality to the 2-hour rewind feature on computers, phones and smart TVs; It really is a joy to use compared to the ITV Hub, and My5.

My5 still seems to be branded Demand 5 with the old logo on most devices.

The ITV Hub isn't too bad now - I find it quite easy to use and it doesn't seem as ad heavy as All4, which itself is still a bit clunky. As you say though iPlayer by far the easiest to use and I don't get really why ITV and C4 haven't made their own catch up services accessible via the red button themselves, along with the occassional (but not frequent) additional streams they have via the catch up services.

In case anyone was wondering what the prompt looks like:-

Considering the green button is the secret way of removing any interactive prompts on Freeview... How are we supposed to get rid of this one?

Exactly the question I was pondering last night. There is a way but I won't spoil the fun.

From that cap above then it isn't just drama it is being used for then. Is it just BBC2 at the moment then?

I’ve not seen one yet, but a recent MHEG retune notice said press Yellow to remove, so does that work ?

That's a 'smart' tv overlay. I know on mine you press exit to clear it. Green still removes MHEG prompts.

Yes, should have stated that was what it looks like on a Smart TV. If I press Back or Exit on the remote it takes the prompt away or it disappears itself after about 10 seconds.
