Some interesting changes to BBC News next Monday. Chris Eakin and Niki Marx are presenting Breakfast on BBC ONE and News 24. Jon Kay is on instead of Peter Coe on Sunday and Gwenan Edwards returns to N24 between 1300 and 1600 on Monday, with Bill Turnbull.
I haven't seen Niki Marx for ages, I thought she's left the BBC! Unless she's had a baby or something, as the last time I saw here was before Christmas, when she presented Breakfast.
Perhaps she's gone freelance.
If she has, why would she be chosen to do Breakfast? I mean there are loads of female presenters who could fill in - such as Julie Etchingham, Sian or even a N24 presenter, such as Maxine or anyone.

Probably because it's a bank holiday and all the usual presenters have got the day off. Breakfast is only on BBC ONE until 7.00 anyway.
Going off the point a bit, I was looking at next Monday's schedules on BBC Online and was surprised to see that BBC ONE South East had South East Today listed already - and no sign of Newsroom South East! But it also has it listed for today's schedule so it's obviously wrong.
She's always on Five Live - during the day from what I remember.
Although there is a Niki Broyd at 5Live, at least I think there is! Could just be my imagination running wild though!
Does it matter though? Presenters change about all of the time - if I listed every presenter change to Sky News over the past few months I'd have filled the forum!!
Yes, I can't wait for Monday! Breakfast use proper titles, without fading in and out!! Also, the North West Today lunchtime bulletin will use a strange and sting. They always do. Last time it was a static image of the logo accompanied by the sting which lasted for about 30 secs!! I wonder what we'll get on Monday?
For the rest of the week I see Sian Williams is down to do Breakfast (it says Sian Lloyd in RT on Tuesday but that will be wrong no doubt...) and Sian is also down to do the Six on Tuesday and Wednesday (as well as this Friday) - long days for her!

Does anyone know who is due to be the new permanent face of Sunrise on SKY News? It was to hhave been Emily Maitlis but she has left to join BBC London. I had heard it might be Juliet whatshername, their ex business presenter.
Natasha Kaplinsky is the regular Sky News Sunrise presenter, has been for almost a year now.
Here's the regular schedule - which hasn't been used since the studio move...
Sunrise: Simon McCoy and Natasha Kaplinsky
Sunrise Monday: Mark Longhurst and Natasha Kaplinsky
Today: Bob Friend and Anna Botting
Today Monday: Simon McCoy and Anna Botting
Live at Five: Jeremy Thompson and Kay Burley
News at Nine & Ten: Martin Stanford and Vivien Creegor
The weekend varies normally, but in the mornings it is normally Mark Longhurst and one of the many female presenters.
The afternoon also varies. The evening is always Frank Partridge and Lisa Aziz.
