Presentation beyond the idents

The first Hollyoaks being shown again and one notable thing from a presentation point of view is the inclusion of the full colour C4 logo on the break stings. Was that common on other shows at the time?

I know Brookside had the circle Channel 4 logo on their break stings in the 1996-98 era, if that counts.
