Now come off it, this must surely be the least watched of all the BBC's eight TV channels available in the UK, but for completeness, let's have a thread to discuss its idents and other presentation. Yes folks, it's BBC PARLIAMENT, aka B8 or the informal " Parly ".

I've hardly ever looked at it, and rarely glimpsed the idents, though I will be recording a few for my BBC ident collection in the next couple of months. From memory it looks like a portcullis with a spring around it, which spins around. Wow! Couldn't they have had something more adventurous, like a 3D graphic of the Houses Of Parliament spinning around?

Discuss BBC Parliament (Parly) presentation here.

Well there are EIGHT BBC TV channels available in the UK

BBC One
BBC Two
BBC Three
BBC Four
CBBC
CBeebies
BBC News 24
BBC Parliament

Prior to around 22:30 this evening, we already had idents and presentation threads for FOUR of them:

BBC One
BBC Two
BBC Four
CBeebies

Yes, half the BBC, half a job. So for completeness, we had to have threads for each of the other four BBC TV channels, didn't we?

BBC Three
CBBC
BBC News 24
BBC Parliament

What?!?

Is that what "all the kids" are calling it these days, "Parly" - seriously, what are you on?

"aka B8" - no, it isn't also known as B8, that is a convention you have just invented because you appear to have some sort of bizarre desire to post pointless content in pointless threads.

Generic theads arise from necessity not desire. If someone wants to post something about a specific channel they are perfectly capable of finding the post topic button; they don't need your help.

I think the BBC Parliament (B8 ) music is great! You could say that B8 is great! The jingle, as we all know, goes:

Dummmmmmm diddley diddley dee dar dar dar woosh

I like to get up early in the mornings for Prime Minister's Questions and dance to the:

Dummmmmmm diddley diddley dee dar dar dar woosh

What a funky tune! I've written to the BBC numerous times about possibly creating a dance show in the style of Boogie Beebies on Cbeebies (B10) where politicians dance to:

Dummmmmmm diddley diddley dee dar dar dar woosh

I'd certainly watch!!
