Yep! Its is the cheapest of all cheap phone-in quizzes and does not deserve any place on TV.

So ITV have escaped any fine over over-charging on The X Factor.


Can't see now how they can clear that and then go on to fine others the maximum possible - all slightly different issues, but it kind of sets a precident as they say ITV escaped a fine as they agreed to refund all money and donate any unclaimed to charity.

That was a whole different ball game to the Richard & Judy fiasco, it was a one off mistake. Whereas R&J appeared to be a manipulation over a sustained period.

It was a one-off mistake which ran for the duration of the series.


Though I agree it's a different ball game, once the situation came to light both channels acted in similar manners in reaction - that's where the precident is IMO.

Why is that Make Your Play rubbish still on overnight on ITV?

Yes it certainly seems that way. GMTV doesn't seem to be talking though.

But give Panorama their due they also talk about Blue Peter and Richard & Judy.
