I hope they can sort out all this before the Eurovision Song Contest... if they rig that vote we'll all be doomed and Eurovision will be taken as a laughing stock Laughing

Hehe, we can't have that can we!

There'll be no problem with Eurovision, the EBU rules are fairly strict. Also if all else fails there is the traditional jury to take over

Indeed the London code is 020. They dial 8 digits rather than the 6 most of us have to within our own exchange. But I doubt they dial less than the full number in practice.

It's very annoying to see the London dialling code misquoted on TV on such a regular basis. The correct format it 020 xxxx xxxx. The same for NI - which is 028 xxxx xxxx. This was well advertised to those affected beforehand.

The same goes for Cardiff where everybody continues to use 02920 as the area code instead of 029 XXXX XXXX. It totally throws people when you give them your 8-digit local number and they automatically add 02920 to it!

Interesting today on CBBC they have a vote to choose which suit Lenny Henry will wear tonight. Voting by a premium rate number - 25p, 17[ to Comic Relief.

Notable though is the announcement "Please only vote once. All votes will be charged, but multiple votes will not count."

Not much they can do to change that no matter how big their probe is!

One of the quirks of the contest and one of the reasons we watch it....

It looks more certain that a movie channel is going to be added to ITV's portfolio.

Would be good to have two movie channels on freeview, just hope ITV don't f*ck it up

The range 0808 1570xxx is set aside for fictitious uses in TV and radio, in much the same way 01632 is used in TV programmes.

Which reminds me, you're not the Neil Jones on the GH scriptwriting team?

Make Your Play is on for 25 minutes tonight due to Grand Prix coverage, hardly seems worth it.

Make Your Play, is on ITV1 at around 1am, for about half an hour. Then I think its on ITV2 at around 3am for half an hour.

Now another CBBC show is afflicted by fake winners:
