I do wonder how the market might work with the competition not being about what matches they sell but how each broadcaster sells PLTV. It would be quite different if Sky, BT and Virgin all had the same content but were basically competing on price and deals to flog the flagship content. Virgin kind of do already I suppose by selling Sky/BT bundled together, and the developing BT/Sky deal might also see a bit more competition on that front (though as BT will sell Sky Sports through Now TV, they won't really control the price I'd have thought).

Amazon's aim here actually might be to make people realise they actually already have Prime Video - probably a significant proportion of Amazon Prime customers who don't realise it's actually largely free.

Yeah but you will be there sat in a control room getting all the games in 4K UHD HDR HLG whilst the end user is paying to see stutter vision at 1080p25

Only one game per night is being produced in UHD.

Is it in HDR?

Amazon's aim is to sell Prime subscriptions so it becomes more convenient for people to use them for all their shopping.

They won’t be selling any if it keeps on buffering

No buffering for me just the couple of breaks.

Any pics of the presentation so far? Or is it just world feed graphics?

Nice, clean animating graphics. Can’t find any way to switch easily between matches on my Samsung app though, that seems like an omission. In theory could things like picture in picture and split screen be possible too?

Not worth developing for only five days though.

It'd be a nice feature for their larger sport offering.

Was just about to ask if these were the first ad free Premier League games, but clearly not. Is this the first time live sport on Amazon has carried ads?
