It must take ages taking out the premier league wipe as all match feeds have the replay wipe.

Years ago I had the chance to watch the live MOTD feeds and about 90% of the time it felt like a normal commentary but every now and again when nothing was happening they'd say something to their producer or occasionally drift off mid-sentence. You could tell when there was a stat or fact they hoped would get in the edit because they'd mention it a few times during the game.

It’s live maybe the bbc commentary is shown somewhere live along with English commentators probably sitting in a booth in Chiswick.

Was wondering if any did double duty.
A question about Match of the Day which I've never quite found the answer to - do they commentate live or over an edit of the highlights?

The BBC commentary on Premier League games doesn’t go anywhere else, unless we’re talking about them taking the same main commentator as Amazon games this past week.
With the odd exception the PLP world feed commentators are at the stadium. One of those exceptions is the spectate commentary on one of the games for ‘Goal Rush’.
As has been explained, a typical commentary for highlights wouldn’t be a very good listen if watching live.

Except they don’t, or at least they didn’t the last time I saw a feed for MOTD- that was clean of any replay wipes.

I was pretty certain that the clean feed from the ground had a generic PL wipe, but no other graphics.

Entirely possible it’s changed or I’m misremembering, but I thought I remembered seeing one with no wipes.
The only versions I’ve seen recently were the fully produced match coverage (graphics and all).

I'll check on Wednesday! Usually by the time the match is underway I've got something else to concentrate on.

For matches live on Sky, BT or Amazon, the same match truck will have a dirty and clean output; the dirty has their own clock and score and branded wipes, and the clean has a generic replay wipe and no other graphics. I'm not 100% sure how much of the PLP version is done on site (eg to add their own clock and gfx) - it may be a third output of the match truck or could be done back at Stockley Park.

its Definitely got premier league wipes your first viewing of the replay will prove that which suggests the feeds themselves are produced by PLP

I don't even know why I'm asking this because I'm pretty sure know the answer but every match truck can do this, right?
I remember having some discussion over on another forum earlier in the year (no, it wasn't DS) about the London NFL games and this american was very adamant that CBS fly their own truck over and that it's impossible for any truck to provide a both dirty and clean feed (let alone three outputs of a US branded feed, a clean feed and a UK branded feed) and that if we wanted our own graphics, whoever the UK broadcaster is would need to provide their own truck to do that.
