Back in pre-multi-channel-history, the ITV world was populated by some of the most regional broadcasters that have ever existed. Today, 90% of those broadcasters are have been merged into one ITV. But what if we could bring back some of the TV shows we have lost?

This is an epic journey, following ITV controller Charles Allen as he overcomes the perils of the advertisers and ratings to rescue these lost shows and bring them back to the sanctuary of the present so they can flourish again.
Using his knowledge of today’s digital TV platforms and the latest demands from the shareholders of ITV, Charles uses ITV’s time portal to take him back into pre-digital-history: to find a mammoth drama series that's been out in the cold for too long, 25 years ago to rescue Minder and 30 million years ago to capture some giant sit-com. Once in their world Charles sets out to discover what made them so popular, how they were enjoyed and, ultimately, why they became extinct.
Assisted by his crack team, Charles finds that rescuing and looking after ITV isn’t as easy as he first thought!
