I think the bloke on the right is Simon Potter IIRC who deputised occasionally in the Phillip Schofield era.
Whilst on the subject, I was wondering if anyone can confirm the rumour / urban myth as to why Phillip Schofield left Children's BBC so suddenly. The story which went round my school was that he introduced some cheapo cartoon, and then said over the titles, not realising he was live on air, "That'll keep the f**kers happy".

That has "urban legend" written all over it, and frankly I think it was just your school. Very similar to the old story about an American radio presenter who supposedly signed off with "Well, that oughta hold the little *******!". (Immortalised on Cuban Boys' "Cognoscenti Vs Intelligentsia" a few years back, but the supposed recording was fake.)

Well according to the

""But Phil's time in the Broom Cupboard was coming to an end, and in August 1987 he bowed out after a final afternoon fronted from a rickety picnic table in the courtyard of TV Centre with Sarah Greene, the Newsround team and his replacement Andy Crane sat alongside him. It all ended with a visit to Michael Grade's office, where Gordon was offered a role in a remake of Gone With the Wind with Selina Scott. Then it was off to Saturday mornings.""
I also remember this involving a couple of presenters being outside thinking what are they doing out there. Unware at the time when I was about 8 or 9 thinking it was Phillip's last day.

But he definitely left very suddenly with no goodbyes or explanations... and this was many months before he started on Going Live.

But CiTV can't do it for their 25th with the originals because
A.It did'nt happen with CiTV
B.There was four presenters and they could'nt all press a button
Quite obvious though!

Get Phillip Schofield to re-create his blooper for 2004. Presses the wrong button and what pops up, Acrobats......thats worth a laugh in itself

I'm actually quite disappointed to have my urban myth shattered. I'd kind of convinced myself it was true after so many years!
