Does anyone else remember the CBBC 10th anniversary programme? It was broadcast live from CBBC's former summer set 'on the roof' which I think was supposed to be danger island! It featured nearly all of the past presenters.
Incidentally, who agrees with me that CBBC should again broadcast from the roof in the summer - oh, the yearly childhood anticipation of what the summer set would be!

I think I've said this here before, but in addition to whatever celebrations CBBC itself does, I'd love to see an evening of retro kids programmes on BBC Three, linked Broomcupboard style... maybe outsource it to one of the nations as they have "proper" continuity suites still.

"Whatever you do Philip, don't touch that big red button. That's the Spinning World. That's adult telly. Don't touch it."
Of course, when you tell a kid not to touch something............

I'm still hoping for a return to standard continuity at teatimes. This would have several advantages in that 4:3 material could be shown in the correct ratio, and there'd be less scope for credit squeezing (even with an ECP). And the costs recouped from making presenters redundant could go straight back into programming.
