From watching CNNI's simulcast of the CNN US coverage, I think the two channels really need to co-ordinate their graphics. At one point, we had the CNNI ticker and strap at the bottom, the ridiculous CNNI 'Breaking News' bar cropping off the top of the picture, and CNN US's enormous orange 'Live from' curvy thing down the side - which meant that we probably only got to see about half of the actual live pictures!
Back in the 90s, when both channels used the same (plain, but at least consistent) straps and graphics, this sort of thing was never a problem. CNNI could take the CNN US feed without the need to key any graphics of their own, and the viewer wouldn't even notice.
Of course, I appreciate the fact that the CNN US's graphics are going very Fox Newsy, and CNNI isn't willing to go down the same route. But the chopping between feeds, such as when you see a couple of seconds of a CNN US map before CNNI put up a map in there own style, just looks sloppy.
I'm sure it's a completely unrealistic wish, but it would be nice to see CNN US and CNNI put a bit of thought into coming up with a graphics set that's acceptable for both channels - perhaps a bit more 'in your face' that CNNI has at the moment, but a little more conservative than what CNN US uses.

Scott Booth from Crossroads (played by Matthew Maude). That's who.
Also played in the previous better-recognised and more-viewed version by the excellent Kieran Hardcastle from the Carlton TV Workshop.
