Americans: Thick.

Aye, not sure they'll be too fond of that remark.

Still, every man working at an airport has to be some sort of nancy boy, so I'll work my charms on them.

I really should start packing, but just can't be bothered, they'll only send it to O'Hare instead of Dulles.

You know, Parent B told me on the phone "not to just jump into bed with anyone".

Dream on.

Like f-ck it is.

A) they were bigger

B) one had a huge pole on top

C) they were in a different place.

Unless it's the WTC under construction in the 1970s, I doubt very much Fox would be stupid enough to slip that one through.

Aside from that, it's a different set of buildings. WTC was a great deal taller, if you recall.

EDIT: Yes, seems as though c@t beat me to it.

Well I did think they were taller. I just thought it might be a strange angle or something. I don't remember seeing 2 buildings the same size together before, other than the twin towers of course.

New NOAA satellite images showing before the blackout (left) and after (right). It may not be quite as severe as people think, but clearly has had an effect on the night sky.

For amateur astronomers like myself, I'm sure the seeing from New York is the best it's been in nearly a century!

Ironically, Bloomberg couldn't stay on the air. They are based right in the heart of the city.

Thankfully, they managed to switch coverage over to Hong Kong in time to take a press conference from the mayor of New York, who just so happens to be... Michael Bloomberg.

Not Hong Kong, but Japan because that's bloomberg asian coverage comes from.

The latest reports are suggesting that the problem arose in Ohio (perhaps near Lake Erie coast)
and not at the Niagara Mohawk generating station at Niagara Falls NY as alleged by
Prime Minister Chretien, nor due to a sudden increase in load from Ontario consumers as suggested by some US sources.

Quote:
U.S. investigators with the North American Electric Reliability Council believe the collapse was caused by three failed transmission lines in northern Ohio.

Apart from buses, TTC services continue to be unavailable.

Quote:
The Toronto Transit Commission will not be running subways or streetcars until Monday. TTC buses will run along subway routes to compensate. Wheel-Trans is offering limited service for essential trips.

How come none of the UFO fringe has come forward and suggested that the problem arose due to the proximity of Mars and was caused by the Martians?
