It has come to my knowledge that before the Corporate look of the BBC, the studio used was the studio now used by liquid news. Can anyone confirm or deny that the old (previous to corporate) news studio still exists or whether it has been replaced, and if so, with what?

The old studios used to be on the same floor as the old newsrooms. I dont know if they are still in use or not. The 'Six' had its own separate studio to the 'One' and 'Nine'. They were next door to each other.

I know Christopher Price, presenter of Liquid News, personally. He told me some time ago that he was getting a new studio with changes to the set. They have a bigger one now that allows them to use a jib and track for more 'exciting' shots.

TC11 is where Liquid News now comes from. It was originally N2 (one of the old news studios)

TC10/N1 started being used last year (TOTP Plus/TOTP at Play come from there)

The old Liquid News studio was TC0 - known as the 'Virtual Studio'
