Nobody on this forum has reported the ratings

The Apprentice - 6.8m (27%)
Britain's Got Talent - 7.1m (29%)
Big Brother - 2.1m (8%)

I'm very surprised that BGT didn't just maintain it's audience but actually increased it. Most people I know who are watching BGT opted to watch The Apprentice last night

Channel 4 have been really stupid with the scheduling of Big Brother this year, seemingly finding the most competitive in the schedule and putting it there. They will be airing it opposite Coronation Street next week at this rate

Tomorrow actually, though to be fair it's Corrie muscling in on Big Brother's slot!

They are only doing that because there is no Corrie on Sunday due to sport. Its not as if Corrie are just adding an extra episode for the sake of it.

I know what i'll be watching tonight - Corrie Vs BB - no contest!

Britain's got talent dosen't count. For it to be a reality TV show they have to actually LIVE there and I don't think they do on BGT.

Britain's Got Talent isn't a reality show in that sense, is it?

Exactly - I've never considered the likes of Pop Idol, X Factor etc. to be "reality shows" - and Britain's Got Talent has even eliminated the element borrowed from reality TV of having one contestant eliminated each week - though I believe the second series of America's Got Talent is being revamped into this sort of format, which is a shame IMO.

I think this whole annoying thing of misinformed people calling talent shows "reality TV" might come back to Fame Academy, which was effectively Big Brother meets Opportunity Knocks, since the participants were all living in the academy, I think complete with live "interactive-but-it-isn't-interactive-at-all" streams
