Is Pop Idol likely to return?

HI there,

I know that there isn't going to be a third series of Pop Stars but I wondered if anyone knew whether Pop Idol was likely to meet the same fate?

I have quite a good reliable source at Granada and he tells me that there is more of a chance that it will be back next year, ratings are not as good as last year's, but i hope it will be back, hope this helps
