Today’s 5 episodes shown from 11am today were a mix from 3 different series
1 (No title name) but ends with the UFO 1994
2 Danger! Drivers Ahead 1994
3 Safety First 1995
4 The Liver Run 1995
5 Driven to Distraction 1996

All had Carlton logos at the end except the 2nd Episode, which stopped with the Optoman Television Production Logo.

Hello,

I found this forum from a Google search.

I saw these episodes on Friday on Men & Motors and saw that they are showing PCA almost every day following that. However, to my dissapointment, it's all been repeats of those 5 episodes everyday.

Does anyone know if they're showing any more episodes and if so when does it start?

I watched and recorded every episode of that and BBC's X-Cars back in the mid 90's but most of my tapes have dissapeared over the years.

There's certain good clips I'd like to see again. One was a blue Toyota pickup truck being chased through Denmark with a Volvo 240 Police car and the other was a wild chase with a Vauxhall Astra Belmont which drove straight across several roundabouts.

Another great one was a Dutch clip of a Toyota Carina Estate with a 50 ft mast on it's roof. Anyone remember that?

I watched the hospital rush episode this afternoon. Anyone know what year that was?

Its just interesting looking at how the cars have changed over the last 15 years or so.

Saw it featured in another programme and believe it was 1988.

A good one again last night

Highlights included Alistair talking to Ken Livingstone about plans to introduce a congestion charge!

Alistair also visited Trafficlink.

In the footage, Police had to deploy the stinger

It looks like this run of "new" episodes has come to an end as it isn't in the schedule for the next few weeks.

One interesting item in the wikipedia entry for Police, Camera, Action that I kind of remember is that the first series was actually known as "Police Stop!", but any repeats have now been renamed.

I think they should make a new series of Police, Camera, Action. If it would seem contraversial for Alistair to host it, can anyone suggest someone else. My ides is someone who shares some of Alastair's characteristics - Nicholas Owen

Graham Cole was brilliant on Police Stop! I reckon he could still do it.

Funnily enough, I was thinking his namesake, Nick Owen would fit the bill rather well. He seems to share Alastair Stewart's more Partridgean characteristics.

Well I watched some of Police, Camera, Action! on Men & Motors the other night and it appears they've junped about five years of episodes and are now showing the series from 2000, the episode I saw was when Alastair was in America looking at safety development, then at the end you see a car drive off a cliff straight into the ground.

But I can see it being on Men & Motors for sometime now, I've had a quick look on BARB's website and the Premiere of PCA on M&M drew 200-300,000 viewers.
