Excellent, I love this. Makes my driving seem absolutely textbook. Laughing

Anyone watching? I’m glad they've kept the original theme tune and format. Brings back memories.

Indeed, and so far Alistair has managed to drive a fast sports car and have a nice trip up to Scotland!

Oh...after all that, it was a repeat from 2002! So much for a 'new series'.

Tonight's episode was made by Carlton Television! I didn't expect to see their endcap again. You are lucky to see Granada thesedays!

Yet despite having a 2002 credit it carried the current (well up to last Sunday) credits

So are they actually repeats then, or episodes that were in the can but never shown?

Couldn't have been. That last clip with the ducks on it had 2004 as the date in the corner.

It was something like 95-07-04, which would make it the 4th July 1995. The end credits definitely had a date of 2002.

Oops! I thought it said 0 5-07-04, but clearly not:

Since that 2002 episode was in 4:3, I'd imagine that any new episodes would be in 16:9, with all the clips cropped.

I'm certain it's a new run of programmes, no TV Listing classified it as a Repeat, the last series they made was in 2000, and they showed a couple of late 1990's episodes in 2003 in some ITV Regions, plus I believe Central showed the odd episode last year.

I remember that Alastair Stewart was convicted for Drink driving sometime in 2003 or 2004 and at the time they mentioned that there were some new unaired episodes of Police, Camera, Action! and ITV were unsure whether to air them or not.

Better late than never I suppose. Plus the announcer mentioned Men & Motors at the end of the programme, I would have thought PCA would have been shown on there.

Although that would crop off the important speed info from the cameras, so I would presume this would be one of those shows to hang on to 4:3 for as long as they can
