You'll DEFINITELY need to record from 18:30 through to 19:30, Jeepy.
Our local Radio Times shows Points West from 18:30 to 19:00 and a SEPARATE programme "Concorde Special" from 19:00 to 19:30.
However, Points West have been plugging it as one continuous programme for the whole hour. Haven't a clue what they'll do about the headline reprise and national weather at 18:55. Any idea, Chris?
I therefore agree that a manual record would be best for safety.
As I understand it when other English regions have opted out until 1930 they have ignored the national headline update and weather forecast. (Though they could record and turn round the network weather if they were feeling worthy and play it in at 1926ish?)
Am I right in thinking that BBC West played in the audio on the end of the national news themselves, George just saying goodbye rather than we're back just before 7 now here's the news teams across the UK?
