Pointless Series 6

Hi,

Does anyone know when series 6 of Pointless will continue?

They've shown 35 or the apparent 70 episode series and are now showing repeats of series 4 Rolling Eyes

It would be very handy if the could announce that for X weeks we'll be showing repeats so I can switch and come back later!

Just so you know, they never tell us why or when #Pointless repeats are shown. Still plenty of new ones to come, and filming 80 more in May.

And there are still 11 episodes of #pointlesscelebrities to go out. The 1st two eps got 5m, so the others will be on sometime soon.

BBC did this last time with 4 but deffo 5 series, I get the feeling its partly down to when the filming takes place.

It's probably so they can evenly distribute new and old episodes to fill the year.

It's a tactic they employed with The Weakest Link, but they used to intersperse new episodes with old.
Not something you can do with Pointless, because the episodes have to follow on. So, the repeats seem more obvious.

Is 'The Chase' on a repeat run now as well ?

The Chase has no rpt identication in the listings this week so must be back to new ones, they were repeats last week though.

School holidays started last week for some, so I doubt it.

The repeats of The Chase are easy to spot as Paul Sinha has only been in the most recent series.

The giveaway with Pointless is that the last series has a different round 3 ... but of course you have to wait a lot longer to see that!
