I found myself watching A Life Of Grime's tribute to Mr Trebus the other day. I'd forgotten about him completely. There was also Paddington Green which ran around the same time.

Oddly enough, a colleague and I were admiring a house in Crouch End the other day, and it dawned on me it was Mr Trebus’

Started a whole discussion on A Life of Grime and how Haringay Council were at war with the Polish veteran.

Ahh, A Life Of Grime, enough to put you off 'What a Wonderful World' for life. Can't hear it now without seeing a rat scurrying towards me. Seem to remember an episode featuring some houses on the bank of a canal and it was just overrun with rats. The residents were besieged in their homes and couldn't open their front doors. Truly awful stuff.

I think that is where my irrational fear of rodents stems from...
