The Shipman documentary seems to be running with limited ads and the rest of the breaks taken up with trailers and public information films!

This explains the extra ad breaks before and in the middle of the Evening News this evening.

I can't see any reason why advertisers wouldn't want to advertise in the middle of it, i'm sure it'll do quite well in the ratings

They have had promos and PIF's during ad breaks for some peak time shows on HTV West for a little while now.

I guess it's a matter of taste. Ads like the Crazy Frog and mobile ringtones would be completly inappropriate - while I don't think Life Insurance and NHS Direct ads would go down too well either!
