have you ever been picked on at school,college,work etc....
for liking tv programmes that no-one has heard of or tv presentation no one cares about.
i was picked on for liking the raccoons in 2002. and before i left school i told my friends that i liked schools presentation and dr who.
im now at college and suprignsly i have no mates.
I can't believe some of the replies you've had to this post. What it does prove is that just because other people are interested in the same thing doesn't mean you'd want them as friends.
Have you just started college this year? If so - you will find that you get to know people better as time goes on. If not - perhaps you need to put a bit more effort into getting to know other people. I know from experience that can be worthwhile.
The Raccoons is great! In other words you lost friends because you started a conversation about the BBC 1 Balloon and how many idents were made of it? Or if the C4 blocks were better than the circles?
My goodness - your lost friends don't know what fun is then do they?
i didn't lose any friends but i kept a secret with 2 of my friends. i told them i liked dr who and schools presentation. i didn't tell anybody else.
everybody knew i liked the raccons cause i recorded it in dec 2002 then i transffered the opening titles and end credits (run with us) on to my tape recorder. i then played it @ school and just kept singing to it and it drove my friends nuts. they told me to stop it and grow up so i did and we became friends again.
